Committee applications now open

Eco Medics is looking to recruit a committee for 2021-2022, open to anyone and everyone. Doctors, medical students, nurses, allied health professionals, non-medical people and more - all welcome to apply.

This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting group making a real and genuine impact on sustainability within the healthcare industry, and not to mention it looking great on your CV/applications!

In 2019, the NHS became the first healthcare system in the world to commit to achieving carbon net zero. Eco Medics was founded in 2020 to help achieve this ambition by educating, energising and empowering individuals to be part of the solution, to be sustainable health leaders. Over the last year, Eco Medics has run a number of highly successful projects at hospitals across the country, delivered numerous webinars and a very exciting international conference, and has inspired many people to take on projects of their own.

Now, we are looking to recruit a team who will help us deliver on our ambitions over the next 12 months.

Roles

Events Officer - for organised folk, responsible for organising webinars and events
Publicity Officer - for the tech savvy with a creative eye , responsible for social media marketing, newsletter and website updates
Product Officer - for those with a business mind, responsible for managing products and order fulfilment
Sponsorship Officer - for those who enjoy negotiating a good deal, responsible for securing the financial stability of Eco Medics through affiliate partnerships and sponsorship arrangements
Quality Improvement Project Officer - for entrepreneurial people with a positive mindset, to engage and liaise with people running their own QIPs and to help us grow our own bank of off-the-shelf QIP templates
